AVOCADO & TEMPEH BACON ON TOAST

Why not jazz up your avocado on toast with our tempeh rashers? Super easy, nutritious and of course, incredibly tasty - now that’s what we call a winning dish!

Ingredients

2 slices of sourdough bread

1 ripe avocado
-
1 pack of our Tempeh Rashers
-
1 small lime
-
1 small red chilli
-
20g of mixed leaves
-
Handful of dried chilli
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a pan on high for 2 minutes

Reduce the heat to medium, then add the Tempeh Rashers strips to the pan

Cook the Tempeh Rashers on either side for 2 minutes until browned, then set aside

Put the two slices of bread into the toaster, until browned

Peel and finely slice the avocado

Mash the avocado up with a fork, or keep it sliced (whatever you prefer!)

Slice the lime into wedges

Slice the chilli into small pieces

Slice the Tempeh Rashers into strips

Spread the avocado onto the toast, then squeeze the lime’s juice onto it

Place the Tempeh Rashers pieces on top of the avocado

Then scatter the fresh chilli, dried chilli and mixed leaves on top

Serve and enjoy!
